Eurofins gains accreditation as a supplier to the National DNA Database
Eurofins Forensic Services is pleased to announce the approval of its DNA testing laboratory, Eurofins Medigenomix GMbH, for the submission of DNA PACE samples to the UK National DNA Database. This follows the company’s successful UKAS ISO 17025 and CAS accreditation.
Eurofins Medigenomix has been providing DNA forensic services to the German Police and Criminal Justice organizations for over ten years, including reference sample and scene of crime analysis.
This latest development continues Eurofins objectives of providing its customers with the highest levels of quality and safety, whilst meeting the demands of regulatory authorities for the submission of court admissible results.
Paul Hackett, Director of Eurofins Forensic Services stressed the importance of this achievement as a demonstration of the company’s continued commitment and investment in the forensic market in the United Kingdom.
